Using leading-edge surgical techniques and equipment, the day hospital offers a variety of ophthalmic procedures. These include cataract surgery, oculoplastics (reconstructive eye surgery), glaucoma management and corneal surgery.

Getting to Panch Day Surgery Centre

By car

Our day surgery is located in the Corporate One building (within the Bell City Complex) in Preston, in Melbourne’s inner north. We are easy to reach from the CBD, and only a 20-minute drive from Melbourne’s main airport. On-site car parking is available within the Corporate One car park or the Bell City Complex. Alternatively, street parking is available on and around Hotham Street.

By public transport

The day surgery is readily accessible via public transport with trams, trains and buses located a short distance away.

Disability access

Patients can be dropped off and picked up at the front door of the Corporate One building. The day surgery is accessible by lift.

Travel

Patients travelling to Melbourne for procedures that require an overnight stay are able to access a special rate at the Mantra Hotel right next to our building (within Bell City). Please contact us for further information.

    We are located in the Corporate One building within the Bell City Complex, giving your carer access to a wide range of facilities including cafes and restaurants. If your carer prefers to wait within the day surgery, they can do so in our comfortable waiting lounge on the ground floor, and take advantage of our on-site coffee cart.
